Exciting news, folks!
Emily Cook Therapy has been featured on FreshPractice, a website offering therapy office design inspiration for therapists, by therapists. Here’s an excerpt from the interview with practice owner, Dr. Emily Cook:
My therapy office style is classic, comfortable, peaceful, welcoming, and light-hearted. I intentionally mix traditional furniture pieces, like tufted back sofas and large sisal rugs, with modern accents, like mid-century desks and modern lamps, to give the office an overall feel that is both timeless and fresh. The vibe is welcoming, where serious and important work can be done in a safe environment.
In the featured post, you’ll discover the sources of many of the furniture and artwork found in our “fresh and classic” offices, advice for therapists designing their own spaces, and how Emily Cook Therapy creates a comfortable counseling experience by making available amenities like Keurig coffee and down pillows. You’ll also see a few pictures of how our office design has evolved over time — from our tiny one room office to our three office suite!
